                   A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE TEMPORARY
                   CLOSURE OF A PORTION OF AIRPORT ROAD MORE
                   PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED HEREIN ON FRIDAY,
                   SATURDAY AND SUNDAY, MAY 15-17, 1992 FOR
                   "AIRSHOW '92" UNDER THE SPONSORSHIP OF T.C.
                   THOMPSON CHILDREN'S HOSPITAL.
                  
                  
                                                    
                  
                  
       	    	 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
       CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That there be and is authorized the
       temporary closing of Airport Road between Provence Street and
       Shallowford Road on Friday, May 15, 1992, from 3:30 p.m. to 5:30
       p.m. and on Saturday and Sunday, May 16-17, 1992, from 6:00 a.m.
       to 6:00 p.m. for the presentation of "Airshow '92" under the
       sponsorship of T.C. Thompson Children's Hospital provided that 
the
       sponsors shall set out and pick up all flasher barricades and
       traffic control signs in accordance with the traffic control plan 

       attached hereto and shall provide, at all times, an access lane
       for emergency and residential vehicles.
